Treat yourself to some TLC on a Saturday afternoon after a busy week. The mini retreat is about having some restful time to move your body, soothe your nervous system and have some spaciousness. Gentle yoga will unwind physical aches and tiredness from the week (no previous experience needed).
Then a mindful craft activity or mindful colouring (no artistic ability needed!) while listening to calming music or chatting to a like-minded person. Finish with a yoga nidra relaxation to recharge for the rest of the weekend. And did I mention healthy, delicious treats?!
Tessa Venuti Sanderson is an experienced yoga teacher of 20+ years and the longer she teaches the more she understands that listening to the body is key. She teaches in a trauma-informed way which is a balm for anxiety, giving different options so you can choose what’s right for you. She is an experienced facilitating of listening circles and providing spaces where people can be themselves. She works alongside therapists and counsellors to provide an holistic approach to wellness.
