Introduction

It can come as a relief to share thoughts and feelings that may have previously felt too difficult to talk about.

I can offer you the chance to talk through your concerns in a supportive, confidential environment. This can help you gain a greater understanding of yourself and your experiences. Therapy can help pave the way towards a more fulfilling life, where choices and decisions can begin to feel like opportunities rather than obstacles.

I will work with you on an open-ended basis or for an agreed period of time.

Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy – Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF Therapy, London)
  • Certificate in Clinical Supervision – Society of Analytical Psychology (SAP)
  • BACP and UKCP registered

Experience:
Previously I was a counsellor with the Drug and Alcohol team for the London Borough of Hounslow between 2006 and 2009. I then trained and worked as a qualified psychotherapist at Westminster Pastoral Foundation (WPF) Therapy and have worked with adult clients with a wide range of issues in London, Henley on Thames and Reading. My qualifications include clinical supervision with the Society of Analytical Psychology.

Specialisations / professional special interests:

  • Depression
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Low self esteem
  • Loss and bereavement
  • Forming and maintaining relationships
  • Work-related issues

Approach to therapy:
I work with a psychodynamic approach that allows for each individual to make sense of, and make connections between, their thoughts, feelings, past experiences, and hopes and aspirations for the future.
