Introduction

I am a qualified and accredited Psychosexual and Relationship Therapist who works with individuals and couples. I offer the flexibility of offering both in-person sessions at my consulting room in West Berkshire, or on-line for clients who may live further afield or might have pressures due to childcare or work schedules.

I work with clients who come to me with a wide range of sexual and relationship problems including loss of, or miss-matched desire for sex, communication problems, feeling distant, arguments, erectile dysfunction, pain during sex, rapid ejaculation or difficulty with orgasm for both men and women.

I help couples to reconnect physically and emotionally, offering solutions to sexual problems that may not be a purely physical issue and has led to couples not enjoying their intimate relationship as much as they would like.

Couples and individuals may find that they are struggling with intimacy for a range of reasons. They may find that they are struggling to maintain an active sex life after many years in an otherwise happy relationship, maybe illness, the arrival of children, or changes due to ageing are hindering the re-establishment of intimacy. Sometimes life is just getting in the way and you wish to rebuild an active intimate life.

I usually offer couples an opportunity for individual sessions at the start of therapy so each has an opportunity to talk freely about how they are feeling and I use talking therapy to help uncover issues, underlying causes and barriers to change. I then use a directive approach with practical solutions to help my clients achieve realistic goals.

I understand that it is tricky to know how to start with therapy, I offer a free initial chat on the phone if you wish, and always consider a first session as a chance for you to find out if I am the right therapist for you.
