Food and Mood: Integrating Nutrition into Therapy
CPD Workshop for Psychological Health Professionals with Jayne Leonard, Accredited Psychotherapist & Nutritional Therapist.
This 3-hour session will explore the complex and often overlooked relationship between food, mood, and psychological health – offering practical, evidence-based insights for therapeutic practice. Drawing from clinical and research experience in nutritional psychiatry, the session will cover the relationship between nutrition and mental health; food-related issues that commonly emerge in therapy sessions; and how therapists can work ethically and confidently with food and nutrition.
The format will include space for questions and discussion. The session is suitable for therapists and psychological health professionals across modalities and experience levels.
