Suitable for counsellors and psychotherapists, this in-person only workshop will give opportunity to creatively explore your own attachment strategies and representations in a relaxed and gentle environment. Using presentation, individual and small group work, we will review our understanding of attachment theory and its more recent developments, and through exercises and reflection, develop a deeper understanding of our own internal working model for relationships.
Making sense of how we as therapists make and maintain attachment relationships can enable us to consider the more unconscious aspects of how we relate to our clients, deepening the capacity for modelling secure, healthy attachment relationships in our work.
