Introduction
Combining insight from working in high pressure corporate environments with therapeutic experience, I am a welcoming and friendly counsellor for adults and young people to explore personal and professional challenges.
Together we look at patterns, feelings, and experiences shaping your life now. I work in a compassionate and collaborative way, helping you to reflect, gain deeper self-understanding, and move towards lasting change. I also provide practical strategies for those dealing with self-harm, body image concerns, helping clients to find hope and build resilience.
About Me
Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades working in the corporate world. This gave me valuable insight into the personal and professional challenges people face, and how these affect well-being, confidence, and relationships.
My experience includes four years as a volunteer counsellor supporting survivors of sexual assault, coercive control, and abuse. I supported clients from diverse backgrounds including men, women, and LGBTQ+ clients.
People who come to see me might be experiencing a range of issues including anxiety, depression, sex or relationship issues, trauma, self-esteem, infertility, miscarriage, assisted conception concerns, neurodivergence (e.g., ADHD, autism), loss, or loneliness.
Alongside my client work, I am a clinical supervisor and have experience in supervising individuals and groups, working with students and qualified therapists in private practice. I support student counsellors in training at CPCAB Levels 2, 3 and 4. As a qualified counselling tutor, who has taught for the past 5 years, I understand the challenges and personal development that are part of the training journey.
My aim is to help clients reflect on their experiences, gain clarity, and develop healthier coping strategies, so they can make meaningful changes and live more fulfilling lives.
