Experience
Prior to my counselling career, I worked as a tutor and trainer in schools and
universities. I couldn’t help myself from noticing the immense stress that my students and colleagues were under and that made me want to support them further.

Since gaining my first counselling qualification I have worked in diverse settings such as charity organisations, schools, university counselling services and private practice. I have experience working with people from different walks of life presenting with a wide range of issues.

Through my current position running a college counselling service in Oxford, I have gained extensive experience in working with adolescents and young adults.

After running successful practices with individuals of all ages and backgrounds for the last decade I am now completing a postgraduate program in couples and close relationships therapy at the Gestalt Centre in London.

I truly understand how complex and painful relationship problems can be and want to offer a supportive and open space for you to talk to each other and find ways to rebuild connection. Couples may seek therapy for specific reasons like frustrating and persistent arguments, feeling insecure in their relationship, family issues, separation or more general issues such as a lack of engagement and understanding.

Together we will look at your communication style and understand how former patterns and relationship traumas may have an impact on your current relationship. In order to make sure that I work ethically and my work is kept to a high standard, I will be meeting with my clinical advisor on a regular basis.

I offer sessions in French as well as in English.

I have training and experience in the following areas:

  • Depression and anxiety
  • Anger
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Eating disorder
  • Self-harm
  • Relationships
  • Self-esteem and personal development
  • Work
  • Spirituality
  • Carer role
  • Health problems
  • Learning disability
  • Cultural adaptation

What do I offer?
Both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your specific needs.

Approach and orientation
“To care of another individual means to know and to experience the other as fully as possible.”- Irvin Yalom

My orientation stems from integrative psychotherapy. The integrative approach draws from a wide number of theoretical and clinical ideas ranging from psychodynamic, existential, humanistic and cognitive theories. This practice enables me to be more flexible and really explore what would suit your individual needs.

I offer a safe, non-judgmental and supportive space to explore what your difficulties are in a way that works for you.

Philosophy on counselling and psychotherapy
Everyone goes through times that can feel overwhelming and very distressing. You may find yourself stuck in negative and destructive patterns – in those moments, I truly believe that therapy can be a life-saver.

Therapy can also be a safe and exciting space for you to gain a better understanding of yourself and explore deeper issues that might have been lingering for a while.

It is a process which gently challenges and transforms the elephant in the room that may stop you from engaging with your life and your relationships fully.
