The holiday season can be beautiful, gratifying, exciting, stressful, or triggering (and for some, all of the above). It can be helpful to pause for a moment and ask yourself how your nervous system is feeling today.

Using nasal breathing, inhale gently to full lungs, exhaling with a little bit of control, making your exhale longer than your inhale. Repeat unbroken for two to five minutes.
This practice can support a sense of calm in the body and brain, and is useful if you need a moment of calm or “time-out” during the festive period.
