Introduction

I offer regular weekly sessions to explore the issues that seem to be causing difficulties for you. This confidential and consistent space can allow the knots in our thinking and feeling to loosen in a way that is simply not possible in other settings.

It can feel daunting to attempt to confront challenges in life, but within the context of a thoughtful space it can be possible to find new ways of being.

As well as my work in private practice, I have worked with clients in short-term and open-ended work in a variety of settings including community based counselling services in London and Hampshire. My clinical work is complemented by a background in educational and social care settings.

I am particularly interested in working with clients who do not speak English as a first language and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe that conversion therapy is harmful and I work in a way that is affirming of LGBTQIA+ perspectives.

My approach is based in psychodynamic thinking which prioritises creating a space for you to make links between the ways in which you might be getting stuck.

I don’t offer advice or strategies, but help you to access new perspectives which can, with time, have a profound effect on your experience of the world and your relationships.
