Introduction

I am an integrative counsellor with extensive experience providing counselling to people age seventeen and up. I specialise in low self-esteem, low mood, anxiety, PTSD, and social anxiety.

My approach draws on several evidence-based models so therapy can be flexible and responsive. I may include elements of cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and experiential techniques, all grounded in a humanistic framework.

Drawing on my professional training and diverse life experience, I create an authentic and supportive environment where you can explore and speak freely without fear of judgement or prejudice. Together we can explore and understand the issues you are facing, uncover insights, identify triggers, and find the right techniques or coping strategies for you to achieve your goals.

I have worked with a variety of mental health difficulties, and have skilfully integrated counselling interventions to meet complex individual needs of those seeking support. Alongside addressing these challenges, I believe the relationship that we have with ourselves is crucial to consider when we are exploring and working with emotional turmoil and distress.  I have particular interests in shame and self-criticism and development of a compassionate self.
