Introduction

I am a former family lawyer with over 25 years’ experience
advising and representing those who are going through a divorce or
separation.

I trained as a mediator in the late 1990s and set up my own mediation
practice based in Reading (Sandra Marshall Family Mediation Services) in
 2015.

I believe court should be a place of last resort for those who are separating. During the mediation process I work with couples wishing to find mutually acceptable arrangements for their children and their finances when they separate. With a background in family law, I am able to guide and inform regarding the legal aspects surrounding divorce and separation, whilst leaving couples free to make their own decisions about the future.

I am flexible in my practice and offer face to face or online mediation, with solicitors being involved at any stage if appropriate.

I am trained in both traditional and hybrid mediation.

I am accredited with the Family Mediation Council and I also work as a Professional Practice Consultant, supporting and supervising other mediators.
